Salt Brick is an incredible experience; the food is delicious, the atmosphere is beautiful, the drinks are divine. We’re most certainly leaving full to the brim. I enjoyed their Primetime Prix Fixe while my husband enjoyed the rib eye. Everything was wonderful, we have zero complaints in terms of the food. The pricing is understandably high but you’re paying for a quality meal and a really, genuinely cool environment. Our only real complaint is how long it took to serve. We arrived around 6:00 PM and didn’t leave until close to 8:00 PM, and that wasn’t because we were socializing. The service is slow, but I think it’s by design, so you have time in between dishes to prepare for the next. Just note that you may need to carve a little extra time in your schedule for a meal! Overall though it’s a 10/10 experience for us!
UNBELIEVABLE!! They were out of the regular t bone, so I ordered the 30 day aged ribeye and wowwww! Service is phenomenal, Destiny our waitress is great! She is attentive and on point! Julian who has been working at the restaurant talked to me about the situation with them being out of the regular ribeye opened up my eyes on the aged process and taste which holy wow, he knows his stuff. I was blown away after the bang bang shrimp bao bun! What a spin on that! About to get my dessert and I am positive it will be great! If you are in the area of Branford, go there for dinner! You will not be let down! Adding on to my review, dessert was off the hook! Espresso gelato, UNBELIEVABLE! Went to the bar afterwards and Mercedes is excellent at serving up the brisk libations! What a great overall experience!

We came for a couple of days to explore the area and decided to have dinner here — such a good choice. The food was really вкусное: fresh tacos and a juicy burger. But what made it special was the staff — super friendly, attentive, and just genuinely nice. Cozy vibe, great service, definitely recommend !
Had an amazing experience at Lockworks Tavern! Webster was absolutely fantastic and made the night even better with his great attitude. Our server was also incredibly polite and attentive throughout the meal. The food was outstanding, especially the steak, which was cooked to perfection. Everything came out flavorful and perfectly prepared. Highly recommend!
Writing Lockworks Tavern was an absolute vibe this Valentine’s Day ❤️✨ We went during their prix fixe menu event and everything hit just right. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the food was genuinely delicious, and the staff along with the manager made the whole experience feel effortless with how friendly and attentive they were. Definitely one of those spots that turns a night out into a full-on memory. I’ll be back 🍽️🔥
In from Tennessee, food was awesome. Not a complaint in sight! All areas of service exceeded expectations! And compliments to the manager for drinks on the house! We had the smash burgers! Trufle fries were great! And regular fries were over the top with the vinegar dry powder! Thank you for all great experience Lockworks Tavern!!
Everything was great! Food, service, and vibe! Pretty sure our server's name was John C, he was very attentive without being too much! Very nice guy. My boyfriend described the Nashville hot chicken sandwich as "unbelievable" and I will describe the smash burger as "very good". I tried some of the Nashville hot chicken and I agree it was unbelievable for sure. Perfect amount of spicy without overpowering the delicious flavors. The fries hit that delicate balance of crispy outside without cracking your teeth on them, and soft fluffy middle 👌. For drinks, we enjoyed the paper plane and the lychee martini very much! Yummy, fun night out over all! Thanks guys! Will be back for sure. 😁👍
This place is great. We went with 3 little kids and 4 adults. Music was a little loud but it is a tavern after all. We liked their fancy restaurant Saltbrick Prime so much, we had to give this a try and it did not disappoint. They give you popcorn while you order your food, pretty cool and different. The garlic bread that we ordered was meh but pretty much everything else tasted very good. Service was great too and management here is great. Overall score 8.6/10
Had a great time! The sushi-rito was great, tho a little too much dressing on the greens. We also had the whipped ricotta and she had the salmon, both were exceptional! Cocktails were fantastic too, I had the seasonal old fashioned and she had the sunset blvd. We will be back to try more of the menu!
